Community Nurses

We have an experienced team of District Nurses based at the surgery. They hold a clinic every morning at 10.30 am where they can deal with dressings, removal of stitches, ear-syringing etc. They also visit patients in the community to provide a wide range of chronic disease and acute illness care. They can be contacted by telephone on 01274 256131.

Health Visitors

Our Health Visitors are experienced nurses with specialist qualifications in the field of health visiting. They are able to help with parenting, childcare and developmental assessment. They run their own clinics at the surgery and in the community. They can be contacted for advice on 01535 647842.

Attached Staff

There are also a variety of other healthcare workers who are based in the surgery for part of the week, to whom we are able to refer patients for specialist advice and input. These include physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitians, counsellors, mental health workers and drug and alcohol support workers.
